This afternoon, the Ningbo Institute of Materials, Chinese Academy of Sciences signed a cooperation agreement with Ningbo Tiansheng Seals Co., Ltd. to establish a joint laboratory for advanced sealing materials and systems in Cixi.

Guided by national and industrial needs, the two parties will conduct joint industry-university-research research to develop a new generation of high-performance sealing materials and systems, cultivate a team of technical talents in the sealing field, and further enhance my country's sealing technology level.

Advanced sealing is the core basic component and important industry of the equipment manufacturing industry, and is closely related to the development of petrochemical, high-end equipment and other industries.

Relying on the Joint Laboratory of Advanced Sealing Materials and Systems, Ningbo Institute of Materials, Chinese Academy of Sciences and Ningbo Tiansheng Seals Co., Ltd. will carry out all-round cooperation in sealing materials, seals and systems, testing and characterization, and talent training.
