TS G2 metal toothed gasket

Features:

TS G2 metal toothed gasket is composed of a solid metal core plate whose upper and lower surfaces are machined with concentric circular serrations and each is covered with a layer of soft sealing gasket. TS G2 combines the advantages of solid metal gaskets and soft sealing gaskets. The serrations on the upper and lower surfaces of the metal core plate create high surface pressure on the sealing gasket to ensure the tightness required for operation. Therefore, this gasket can achieve good sealing performance with low preload force and avoid the risk of extrusion of a single soft sealing gasket.

TS G2 metal toothed gaskets have the following advantages:  

1. No damage to the flange sealing surface and easy to disassemble;

2. During assembly, the covering sealing gasket is rapidly thinned due to compression, reducing leakage and pollution to the surrounding environment;

3. Good sealing reliability and stability reduce equipment maintenance costs;

4. After repairing the saw teeth of the disassembled metal core plate, it can be reused. This is especially suitable for heat exchangers with gaskets made of precious metals (such as Monel, etc.).

application:

TS G2 metal toothed gaskets are mainly suitable for high pressure, high temperature and fluctuation situations, such as hot oil pipelines, pressure vessels, instruments and meters in refineries, and the joints of various valve bodies.

Type:

In addition to circular shapes, TS G2 metal toothed gaskets can also be provided in oval, rectangular, oblong and other shapes according to user requirements. Metal toothed gaskets are divided into basic types and outer ring types (integral type and movable type). The tooth roots are divided into parallel shapes and convex arc shapes to adapt to different flange sealing surface types, as shown in the table below.
